...and the Cat came back....

Remember this blogpost back in October? Susan was giving her shed a facelift, but her new artwork left something to be desired. What was it? There's something important missing. Ah yes.... the cat!

Can you spot the addition?

Here he is, a little closer.

He doesn't look very happy to be shut in the shed.

  1. I love it. That's the kind of fancifulness that makes a neighborhood especially inviting.

  2. That's great. I'd love to be able to do something like that but I fear I'd tromp l'eoil my whole house once I got started. Love the kitty.. such an expression.

  5. Hey! How are you doing? Long time no see, but I do remember the first post (I loved the original painting she had done on the shed). And now the little cat is back, so cute!

Sending a steamy bowl of clam chowdah and a nice slice of BCP your way. :)

    Cheers!

  18. I won't be too thrilled about being shut indoors either. But then again, it's winter so the cat shouldn't complain too much. :-)

Maybe your friend could paint her outside in the summer.

  20. Love the kitty

Methinks I saw one like that in Combe Martin yesterday, when I visited the town for the first time.

Also learned that Shammick is the secret name for Combe Martin. Very secret ... shhhh ...

  23. I love the cat, and I love the look on his face. But to tell you the truth some of the comments you've had are priceless too. I checked out the old post, and I have to say i prefer the present design, but that might be because the old one was getting a bit tatty. Whichever one you look at, though, she's a very talented and imaginative person. Love it!
