Self Portraits

Art Camp Kids created their own self portraits.... on display in a Main Street window.

I'm in there too, just a vague reflection.

  2. That's fun stuff. It's given me an idea for a blog post, actually. Sometime this week; maybe today.

  3. What fun. My girls did a self portrait in school which was then transferred to a tea towel for parent to buy. It was great fun and I have never used it!

  7. When my kids were younger, I requested that a friend ask them to draw a picture of their family. Then I tried to psychoanalyze their projects.

Thankfully, they did not think their dad was a monster. (whew!)

  8. Interesting how kids see themselves...i made the pic bigger. my youngest son drew himself with no torso in most self portraits.

  9. That brings back memories of when my kids did that.

Yes, I have seen the walking tours brochures. They used to have guided walking tours based on them during the Strawberry Festival weekend.

  11. What fun! Isn't it interesting to see how kids see themselves? Or if they draw their family, who is the largest person? Who is the smallest? What position does the child take. I love kids drawings.
And - yes, I see you reflected in the glass. Wouldn't have noticed it if you didn't tell.
